On March 23, the framework agreement on the establishment of New Energy Equipment Collaborative Innovation Center was signed in Deyang by the the Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, Sinomach-he, Institute of Plasma Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Hefei Goldstar Electromechanical Technology Development Co., Ltd.. The signing of this cooperation agreement will continue to promote "industry-university-research-application" collaborative innovation, accelerate the research of key core technologies, strengthen the matchmaking between scientific and technological R & D and market demand, innovation chain and industrial layout, and innovation achievements and market application, thus accelerating the formation of a symbiotic and win-win ecosystem.

Li Jiangang, president of Institute of Energy and academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, was also invited to attend the first Sinomach-he Science and Technology Conference, and gave an academic report Holding the Tomorrow's Sun - The Development Status and Future Prospects of Magnetic Confinement Fusion at the conference. Starting from the energy problems of world today, academician Li Jiangang introduced the significance, research history, development history, existing problems and challenges of the research on magnetic confinement fusion, and especially emphasized the research progress and important achievements of China in engineering and physics since it joined the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).
