On September 15, 2021, the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province announced the notice of registering the supporting units of the Provincial Natural Science Foundation. According to Administrative Measures of Anhui Natural Science Foundation (Revised) (WKJJ [2020] No. 16), the Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (Anhui Energy Laboratory) (hereinafter referred to as Institute of Energy) was approved to be registered as the supporting unit of the National Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province after being reviewed by organized expert meeting. From 2022, researchers of Institute of Energy who meet the project application conditions of the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province  can apply for relevant projects of National Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province. The successful approval of the supporting unit of National Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province will further broaden the application channels for researchers of Institute of Energy and promote the gradual improvement of scientific research and innovation ability and level of our Institute. Next, Institute of Energy will earnestly perform the responsibilities of supporting units, actively organize project application and implement standardized project management  in strict accordance with the relevant management measures and requirements of National Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province.
