Dr. Duan Lianfei, director of the Joint Laboratory, reported on the construction and development of the laboratory. He summarized from the four dimensions of R & D team, product R & D, technological innovation and platform construction, and put forward the work plan for 2022 in terms of improving the height of the platform, expanding application scenarios, strengthening intellectual property protection, and building a professional technology research team and product R & D team. Dr. Zhong Guoqiang, co-director of the Joint Laboratory, gave a special report on the breakthrough of laboratory cooperation and opening projects and product application. Through on-site investigation and selection, principle verification and preliminary index test, he ensures that the project can be implemented as planned and achieve the expected objectives.

The Joint Laboratory of Nuclear Testing Application Technology was founded on Mar. 14, 2020. Based on the principles of complementary advantages, resource sharing and common development, Goldstar Intelligent Control and Institute of Energy focuses on the deep integration and efficient linkage of “key technology research, innovation capability improvement, talent training, transformation of scientific and technological achievements and implementation of industrialization”.

Institute of Energy established the Collaborative Innovation Center for Key Common Technologies of Nonferrous Metal Intelligent Manufacturing with China Silver Group for market-oriented applications one year ago. Technologies such as material composition analysis, industrial process gas detection and process control, electrolytic short circuit detection and intelligent interactive management of electrolytic workshop have been applied to the Copper Company of Silver Nonferrous Metals Group, which has completely solved the problems of lagging detection of matte and slag composition that had plagued silver nonferrous copper smelting for a long time. Without sampling and sample preparation, on-site personnel can detect at any time with one-button operation, and the detection results can be obtained on site in 3 to 5 minutes. These technologies provide support for the stable process index of flash furnace and the reduction of production cost. They have effectively contributed to the technical transformation and upgrading of Silver Group and will accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Silver Group.

According to Wu Huafeng, Chairman of Goldstar Intelligent Control, through the good practice of production, university and research cooperation with the Joint Laboratory of Nuclear Testing Application Technology, Goldstar Intelligent Control has successfully applied for the Precision Instrument Technology Innovation Center in Hefei and will increase innovation investment and resource allocation in product application R & D to support the long-term development of the Joint Laboratory.

Academician Li Jiangang put forward further requirements and plans for the Joint Laboratory. On the one hand, the project achievements at the present stage should be transformed into products as soon as possible and rely on the collaborative innovation center to cooperate with upstream and downstream enterprises to expand product application scenarios. On the other hand, it is necessary to focus on the industrial demands in the industrial field and strive to industrialize more achievements to promote intelligent manufacturing and green production.
