2023年7月16日，加拿大萨斯咯彻温大学教授、博士生导师肖持进老师来我院开展为期十天的交流访问。交流访问期间，肖持进老师参观了紧凑环课题组实验室，并参与了EAST-CTI放电实验，在放电实验中，肖持进老师对紧凑环放电装置提出了诸多具有建设性的改造计划，并针对实验过程中所遇到的问题给出解决方案。

7月25日上午，中国科学院合肥肿瘤医院党委书记、院长王宏志率队赴能源研究院考察调研、洽谈合作，能源研究院院长李建刚院士主持召开合作交流会。中国科学院健康所副所长储焰南、肿瘤医院副院长林源、肿瘤医院副院长王恩君等相关科室负责人和专家参会。

On July 16, 2023, Xiao Chijin, a professor and doctoral supervisor of University of Saskatchewan in Canada, came for a ten-day exchange visit. During the visit, Mr. Xiao Chijin visited the laboratory of the compact torus research group and participated in the EAST-CTI discharge test. In the test, Mr. Xiao Chijin put forward many constructive transformation plans for the compact torus discharge device, and gave solutions to the problems encountered in the test.
